A Growing Market Demands Greater Capacity
The domestic and international wet wipe market has grown rapidly in recent years, driven by heightened hygiene awareness and the premiumisation of baby care. For wet wipes used on infants — particularly those in direct contact with facial skin or the mouth — quality expectations are now comparable to those applied to cosmetics, requiring manufacturers to invest in better raw materials, cleaner production environments, and more sophisticated equipment.
Two product categories in particular have driven this growth: formula baby wipes — ultra-soft, skin-safe, and suitable for contact with a baby's mouth — and degradable baby wipes, made from plant-based fibres and fully compostable, catering to environmentally conscious consumers worldwide.
